shipping carriers:

  • we currently ship domestically within Japan and internationally to the following regions (with plans to expand our coverage soon):
    • North America: US, Canada
    • Europe: UK, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France
    • Australia/New Zealand: Australia, New Zealand
    • Asia/MENA: China, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar
  • we primarily rely on Japan Post and Sagawa for domestic orders within Japan and Japan Post and DHL for international shipments
  • for complimentary shipping, we use Japan Post's Economy Air option, with an estimated delivery time of 6-13 days for international orders

we ship all products internationally, but taxes and customs duties vary by geography and local regulations. The information provided below is intended as a guideline only. North America US Valued at $800 or less is duty-free. If the declared value exceeds $800, the customer may be required to pay import taxes, typically ranging from 0-5% of the value. May incur customs duties of around 10-20%, depending on the valuation. Additional tariffs may apply based on current trade policies.
Canada Usually duty-free, but GST/PST/HST may apply based on the province, ranging from 5-15%. May be subject to a duty rate of approximately 10-18%, with additional GST/PST/HST depending on the province (5-15%).
Europe EU Generally exempt from customs duties, but VAT (typically 5-20%) may apply depending on the country. Customs duties may range from 8-12%. VAT, typically 20%, will also be applied based on the country’s rate.
UK Generally duty-free; however, VAT of 5% may apply if the item value exceeds the threshold. Duties may range from 8-12%, and VAT of 20% will also be charged based on the item’s value.
Oceania/Asia Australia Exempt from duties and taxes for values under AUD 1,000. For values above, GST of 10% may be applied. Duties may range from 5-10%, plus a 10% GST if the value exceeds AUD 1,000.
Singapore Duty-free and not subject to GST if imported. GST at 8% may apply for items over SGD 400. Generally subject to a 5-10% duty rate. Additionally, GST at 8% applies if the total value exceeds SGD 400.
Hong Kong Duty-free, and there are no import taxes or VAT applied for artworks. Duty-free with no VAT or import taxes applied, as Hong Kong has a free port policy.
Taiwan Generally duty-free. However, an import tax of approximately 5% may be charged depending on the declared value. May incur an import duty of around 8%, with an additional VAT of 5% based on the total value.
Japan Subject to a consumption tax of 10% for domestic shipments. For international shipments, tax is not applied. Domestic orders are subject to a 10% consumption tax. For international shipments, no Japanese tax is applied, but import duties and taxes may be imposed by the destination country.
