Awarded the Minister for Foreign Affairs Prize (外務大臣賞) at the 29th International Open Art Mirai Exhibition, held at the National Art Center, Tokyo from June 24 to July 6, 2026.
The awarded work, Maluku (F50, 1,167 × 910 mm), is named after the Spice Islands of Indonesia, once a vital crossroads in the global trade of prized spices—an ode to spices as a source of warmth, vibrancy, and comfort. Two additional F50 works, Le Palmerie and The Last Frost, were also exhibited as part of the presentation.
